Pagpakaon sa himsog nga koneho

What is the guarantee of health? – Of course, proper nutrition! Especially if we are talking about a growing organism, which requires a huge amount of nutrients for harmonious development – but digestive disorders and a lack of vitamins are absolutely useless. In our article we will talk about feeding rabbits after jigging, up to the age of 10 months. What features should their diet have?

  • Special appointment. Choose a diet designed specifically for rabbits. A young organism has an accelerated metabolism, and food for adult pets will not be able to fully satisfy its needs.

  • High content of digestible protein. Protein is one of the main “builders” of the body, involved in the formation and functioning of internal organs, muscle tissue, coat, etc. Growing rabbits need food with a high protein content, but this protein should be easily absorbed by the rabbit’s body. For example, alfalfa in combination with a small amount of grains is ideal as a source of protein for rabbits.

  • Nutraceuticals in feed. The action of nutraceuticals is to provide the body with a full range of nutrients for proper development. They strengthen the immune system, increase the overall tone of the body and serve as a prevention of many diseases. Since the immune system of rabbits is still developing and cannot yet fully withstand the negative effects of the environment, it is best to choose a food with twice the amount of nutraceuticals (for example, Micropills Baby Rabbits). So the baby’s body will be protected as much as possible.

  • Milk in food. A small amount of milk in the feed is a huge advantage. Smelling the smell of milk, the rabbits will eat their portion with great pleasure. Such diets are a real salvation during the period of jigging rabbits from their mother. Some rodents have a very hard time switching from mother’s milk to adult food, while a ready-made balanced diet with milk in the composition is an effective and useful intermediary.

  • Pro- and prebiotics. Not only we, but also our pets face digestive disorders. Like ours, the pet’s body can react negatively to one or another component of the feed, undergo the influence of stress and other negative factors, which will result in a violation of the stool. Pro- and prebiotics in the diet will minimize the likelihood of disorders and strengthen the digestive system of a young organism.

  • Optimal balance of vitamins and minerals. Feeding young rabbits must be strictly balanced. Oversaturation with vitamins and microelements is no less (and even more) dangerous than their deficiency. Choose for your pets only high-quality complete balanced lines from manufacturers you can trust.

  • Yucca schidigera in the feed. This useful plant will help not only improve digestion, but also eliminate the unpleasant smell of rabbit feces. Take note of this added benefit!

  • Form of feed – pellets (granules). Why? If a rabbit eats a pelleted diet, he will not have the opportunity to choose certain components of the feed and ignore others, because he will eat the whole pellet. This is very important, since selective eating behavior is the most common cause of weight gain and nutrient deficiencies in the body, because such nutrition is not balanced. Pelleted diets completely solve this problem, as each granule contains all the components necessary for the health of the rabbit.

  • Production control. An important advantage of the line will be strict control over each stage of production and a freshness control system (for example, packaging in a modified atmosphere, as in Fiory Micropills feed). Thanks to the responsible approach of the manufacturer, you will be sure of the quality of the food you choose for your pets.

  • Robust packaging and zip-lock for long-term preservation of feed quality.

Here we have listed the main points that you need to pay attention to in the first place. Remember, “forewarned is forearmed”? And now you have the necessary knowledge in order not to make a mistake in choosing food. Happy shopping!
